Introducing Pink Guava and Strawberry Saison, the 28th release under our Taproom Series.

Saison, originating in Belgium and meaning “season” in French, was brewed at the beginning of winter and conditioned in time for seasonal farm hands to quench their thirst during summer work. It’s a Belgian ale, or “farmhouse ale”, similar to a pale ale, that is highly carbonated, effervescent, refreshing, slightly bitter without being hoppy, with a very dry finish. The Belgian yeast character is often spicy, slightly peppery and fruity.

Our version pours an appealing cloudy, golden colour, with an ample fluffy white head. It packs huge aromas of passion fruit, strawberry, pear and spice. On the pallet, you’ll find lots of tropical fruit and strawberry with a slight peppery spice aftertaste. This liquid is light to medium bodied with very high carbonation to enhance aromatics, a slight alcohol sensation with a refreshingly dry finish.
