Introducing Black Currant Cream Ale, our 26th release under our limited run Taproom 174 Series.

We started by brewing up a refreshing and easy drinking Cream Ale which was then conditioned on a bed of pureed black currants; the most fruit we’ve ever packed in the fermenter.

Pouring garnet red with a bright and fluffy pink foam, this beauty packs aromas of berry, grape and cherry with a subtle earthiness. Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation, bold flavours of berry and passion fruit shine through offering a hint of acidity that delivers a pleasant tartness without being sour, and a quick dry finish that will leave you reaching for another sip.

Pair with a wheel of brie, your favourite cheesecake or a second pint. This one won’t last.
