OTTAWA, ON — March 6, 2025 — Ottawa Charge star forward Emily Clark has partnered with
Broadhead Brewery to launch ‘Ottawa Wheat 26,’ a raspberry wheat ale (4.4% ABV). This
collaboration marks Clark as the FIRST female professional athlete in Canada to release her
own inspired craft beer, with a portion of proceeds supporting The Breast Health Centre at The
Ottawa Hospital in the Nation’s Capital Region.

“Broadhead Brewery immediately embraced the idea of collaborating on a craft beer that not
only celebrates my career in professional women’s hockey but also gives back to our
community,” said Clark. “I’m proud to partner with Broadhead who has worked on other
initiatives previously and would allow me to be able to lend my attributes as both a professional
& national team hockey player to make a financial impact throughout the region.”

The ‘Ottawa Wheat 26’ is a refreshing raspberry wheat ale with a crisp finish, brewed using
locally sourced wheat and a hint of natural raspberry flavor. Its light, smooth texture makes it the
perfect drink for hockey fans and craft beer enthusiasts alike. The beer’s name pays homage to
Clark’s ties to professional hockey in Ottawa, the wheat used in brewing, and her iconic jersey
number, 26.

“It’s an honor to collaborate with Emily Clark on a beer that celebrates her incredible career and
supports a cause that touches so many lives,” said Jamie White, co-founder and CEO of
Broadhead Brewery. “Through this partnership, we’re not only raising a pint to a great cause but
also helping to elevate the visibility of women’s hockey in our community.”

Clark will host a launch party on Wednesday, March 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at CRAFT Beer
Market (975 Bank Street, Ottawa). The event will feature Clark and some of her teammates,
signed memorabilia giveaways, and the first opportunity to taste ‘Ottawa Wheat 26.’ The beer is
available at CRAFT Beer Market Lansdowne, and other select bars and restaurants across the
Ottawa area.Beyond this collaboration, Clark is deeply committed to giving back to the community. She
regularly donates tickets to local organizations like Heros Hockey and Kanata Centre 33 and
hosts meet-and-greets with fans.
